There's a posibility for Carla Bruni, the first lady of France, to parade in a "Escola de Samba" on next Rio de Janeiro's Carnaval 2009. The samba school "Academicos do Grande Rio" has already sent an official invitation to get Nicolas Sarkorzy's wife to take part of the parade on the Marques de Sapucaí avenue, on the 2009 Carnaval.

Each samba school chooses a theme or plot on which they may develop the music they will play on the parade, as long as the dresses, opulent floats, and even the dance choreographies. For the 2009 Carnaval Parade in Rio de Janeiro, Grande Rio chose "Voilà Caxias: liberté, égalité, fraternité. Merci beaucoup, merci beaucoup, Brésil, não há de quê". Long title, but in some mix of brazilian portuguese and french it says something like "Here it is, Caxías: Liberty, Equality, Fraternity. Many thanks, many thanks, Brazil, you're welcome".
Académicos do Grande Rio will open the celebrations of the Year of France in Brazil, 2009, singing about food, fashion, scents and architecture of France. Let's hope that Carla Bruni accepts the invitation, and dares (one more time) to show her curves on the world's best Carnaval. We'll be able to see Carla Bruni in topless, above one of those floats shaped as a baguette.
